A PICTURE AND A PROMISE

Make the most of your time in God's Word.
It's really great that you have the opportunity to know God's Word when you are young.
Why?
In the verse it tells you "why" with a promise:
[The holy scriptures] are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

The verses that follow explain this more fully:
"All scripture is gven by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect,
throughly furnished unto all good works."
II Timothy 3:16,17

"Good works" are things that you do, right?
"Wisdom" is knowing what to do.
Both are necessary for walking with God.
