Horn of Salvation
  Psalm 18:2
   The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Luke 1:69
   And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
   For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
   Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

   In the Bible, the horn of a goat, ox, or ram was used as a trumpet and was blown up to the sky to show victory in battle as the conquering soldiers entered a captured city. God is our song of victory! He raised up a horn of salvation for us in Christ when he won the victory for us and conquered the devil and the sin that is in the world. We too can lift up the horn of salvation by declaring to the world the victory that is available in Christ. When Christ returns to gather us together the trumpet will sound the final victory of our salvation!
