Words Seasoned with Grace & Salt
  Colossians 4:6
Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

The words we speak to others should build them up by ministering grace. Grace is favor from God. Grace tells of God's goodness and kindness toward mankind. Grace leads others to love and live for God. Salted words are words of truth. They cause thirst for God. They preserve. They cleanse. They heal. They hold water. They are heavy: they have IMPACT. The words we speak are to be seasoned with grace and salt. That is how we ought to answer every man who wants to know about God.
