God's Promise to the Earth

Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Genesis 9:13,16 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. . . And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will lookupon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creatrue of all flesh that is upon the earth.

Global warming? El NiƱo? A hole in the Ozone layer? God promised Noah and "every living creature" that as long as the earth remains we will have seedtime and harvest. We will have cold and heat. We will have summer and winter. We will have day and night. The rainbow is a reminder to God of His promise. What wonderful words to believe!
