The Table of Your Heart

Proverbs 3:3Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Proverbs 7:2-3 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.
We are to keep God's word in our heart. We write it on cards and put it in frames around our house. We read it every day and rehearse it in our thoughts. We listen to God's word, meditate upon it, sing it to ourselves, and speak it to others. God's word is the joy and rejoicing of our hearts.
