Christ in You -
You Can't See It, but Nothing Can Beat It
This activity will demonstrate that the source of strength can be something unseen.

FOR THIS ACTIVITY YOU WILL NEED:

  • Two empty plastic bottles (water or soda) with caps *
  • Glove or a Sock Puppet
*Juice bottles might be too strong for this activity.

TO DO THIS ACTIVITY:

He is like the man of Jeremiah 17:5:
Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man,
and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
You can explain the 'cap' by going to Ephesians 1:13 and 14.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also, after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession,
unto the praise of his glory.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Which man has real strength?  Who is uncrushable?
The man who trusts in the strength of men or the man who trusts in the power of God?

Fear can't crush us when we claim the strength we have in Christ.
