There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1

   As members of God's family, we can rejoice that our newness of life has been secured right now.  We don't have to wait for "special days" to roll around on the calendar to signal new beginnings.

   For us there is no condemnation; but remember how we instructed to use this liberty that we now enjoy.

   In Galatians it says "For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.  For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." (Gal. 5:13 - 14)

   The family pictured above is a family that knows the love of God. They are loving and tender.  They are strong, too.  If you have a need, they can help you. They are able to give freely because they stand secure in the knowledge that -

   For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified:  and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we say then to these things?  If God be for us, who can be against us?  . . . Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?  shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, now any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (Romans 8:29-31, 25-39)

   We can stand firmly in the knowledge that NOW we are more than conquerors and that NOW there is no condemnation to us.  There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God that we share in God's family.  No waiting, it's ours now and forever.
